Nilce Moraes<\/strong> serves as the Director of Community Christian Counseling since 2011.\u00a0 She holds undergraduate degrees in Bible and Social Work from Cairn University in Langhorne, PA, and received her master’s in counseling from New Jersey State College in Ewing, NJ.\u00a0 In 2005 Nilce made South Florida her home. She has a genuine concern for those who are hurting. She is proficient in helping her clients identify their brokenness and providing them with sound Biblical and professional guidance. Nilce counsels in her native language, Portuguese, as well as English and Spanish.<\/p>\n

\"LaMotta,<\/strong>Berenice S. La Motta<\/strong> holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Master’s degree in Social Work, and is certified as a Licensed Social Worker.\u00a0 <\/strong>Berenice has extensive experience as a Social Worker, serving in New York, New Jersey, and now in Florida. Her work has involved young adults to elderly, men and women, marriage, individual, couples, and family counseling and grief counseling both in secular and Christian environments. Her work has also involved substance abuse counseling, inpatient unit medical assessments, outpatient psychiatric unit counseling, youth with domestic conflicts and substance use, juvenile detention counseling, and individual, couples, and family counseling both in secular and Christian environments. She is passionate about counseling and dedicated to the field, and is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Sandra J. Amado<\/strong> is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas. Sandra earned her Master of Arts in Counseling at the Houston Graduate School of Theology in Texas. For five years, Sandra provided in-home therapy services, working closely with a psychiatrist and nurses to deliver excellent patient care. She has extensive experience working with severe mental illnesses such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder with psychotic features, as well as adolescents, young adults, older adults, couples, and geriatrics struggling with anxiety, depression, Marriage and family counseling, adjustment disorders, phases of life, distress due to separation or divorce, interpersonal issues, substance use, ADHD, Post Traumatic Stress Disorders, and career dissatisfaction. She is skilled in building rapport and uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, completed Trauma-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Client-Centered, Career Counseling, Solution-Focused, Reality, Bible-based principles, and Existential approaches in her practice.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Ana Carolina Peck Mafra, M.A., M.B.S<\/strong> (Christian Counselor, Associate Member of APA, Certified Life Coach). She is a Christian counselor with a heart to help families. With over a decade of experience as a University Professor and Clinical Psychologist in her home country, she came to the United States to follow her calling in guiding families through a biblical perspective. Ana is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Ministry at SFBC, where she has also completed her Master’s in Biblical Studies. Her academic background includes a Master’s in Psychology (Brazil), a Bachelor’s in Psychology (Brazil), and a specialization in Historical-Cultural Theory (Brazil). Ana has worked with individuals facing challenges such as pornography addiction, domestic violence crises, life transitions, and parental challenges. She employs the Family Systems Approach in her work, serving clients of all ages, starting at six years old. Ana holds an Associate Membership with the American Psychological Association (APA) and is a member of the Society for Community Research and Action (SCRA) for Community Psychology. She is a certified Life Coach. Outside of her role at CCC, Ana dedicates time and effort to her advocacy work for victims of sexual exploitation as the founder of DoHope International and the Co-founder of the project “Cuidando da Familia Imigrante.” Ana is fluent in English and Portuguese.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Heather Rap\u00e1lo <\/strong>is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with the State of Florida. Heather has experience working with all ages but especially loves working with youth. She welcomes individual and family treatment. Heather has experience with populations and topics relating to biblical lament, grief and loss, low self-esteem, identity issues, foster care, adoption, family relationships, abuse, trauma, child advocacy, community programming, ministry, and psychiatric and residential treatment programs. In her sessions, Heather strives to meet each client’s individual treatment needs by providing clinically informed and biblically aligned treatment that promotes holistic soul care and lasting\u00a0change.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a> Gabriele Braga<\/strong> is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern (RMHCI) and an Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist. She is also a Board-Certified Christian Counselor, Mental Health Coach, Youth Mental Health Coach, Life Coach, Marriage and Family Coach, and Trauma-Informed Coach through the American Association of Christian Counselors.
